GOVERNMENT OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF NAGALIM
Ministry of Information & Publicity
23rd June 2017
The NSCN/GPRN have been overseeing all kinds of developmental Projects being undertaken within Nagalim to see that works are executed according to the specifications and quality is maintained for the good of the Naga people and the ongoing constructions of 4 Lanes Road between Dimapur and Kohima is no exception. From time to time the NSCN have been reminding the ECI and Maytas Gayatri to ensure that works quality is maintained and completed within the stipulated time. They have also been strictly instructed that for the ongoing works the local Laborers and workers are employed. Whereas, it was found that, construction works was halted on 16 June, 2017. Therefore, the NSCN/GPRN Officials enquired from the Engineers working in the fields as to why works were stopped and they responded that, as it rained heavily they suspended the works on the previous day. Now by 17 June, 2017, Social Medias and print media has gone to the fullest directly pointing fingers at the NSCN blaming for halting works. Unrecognized and un-mandated organization like ACAUT and the likes of KK Sema and Joel Rengma joined the Bandwagon. Even the Governor of Nagaland, Mr. Padmanabhaiah B. Acharya was pressurized to such extent that he also rushed to Delhi and complained to the Union Home Minister, Mr. Rajnath Singh. Now adding to all these, the so called ACAUT had the audacity to give 3 days ultimatum to the NSCN/GPRN making a big joke of themselves.
When the NCSU were reached out and enquired as to what kind of game they are playing, they said that it was just a “communication gap” within the NCSU itself and it will be clarified through the News papers the next day. That “next day” went on and on and on while giving a free hand to the Medias and Social Medias to play havoc against the NSCN/GPRN. At last, Mr. Pele, President of the NCSU, who has been playing all the games from behind was summoned by the Hon’ble Kilo Kilonser, Mr. Hukavi Yepthomi on 21st.June, 2017. After thorough discussions, Mr. Pele, President of NCSU, admitted that, he is using Mr. Neibu Angami, Deputy Kilonser from Unification Camp ( GPRN/NSCN) as his works Supervisor. He also admitted that he will clarify the matter for making the Medias make false allegations against the NSCN/GPRN. But whereas, the clarification of the NCSU in local papers on 23 June,2017 mentioned about agreement on 21st.June to resume works on 22nd June which came as a big surprise to the NSCN because the NSCN is not dealing with NCSU but the NSCN deals with the Companies directly. The so called misunderstanding related to the halting of works was purely within the NCSU.
Therefore, the general public is requested to kindly understand from that perspectives and refrain from unfounded and wild allegations.
