The NSCN/GPRN expressed shock and mourns over the sudden and untimely demise of Lieut. Benchamo Kithan, V.P Battalion, S/O of Tsumongo Kithan of Yikhum village who breathed his last on 4th Dec. ’09 at Dimapur owing to a B.P. stroke. Late Mr. Benchamo, who was born on 30th 1975, joined national service on 22nd Sept. 2003, was a graduate in English literature. A recognized personality and well behaves person left the nation with an indelible mark in the social structure for his selfless contribution to the national movement was a staunch believer of Naga nationalism, and till the last moment he served with unflinching spirit for the sacred cause of the nation.
The Naga Army salutes in paying homage to this brave departed soul. He shall be remembered for his valuable contribution toward nation building with dedication and faithfulness that will always remain ever fresh in everyone’s heart for generations to come. At this hour of grief and pain, the NSCN/GPRN conveys heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prays that may Almighty God grant eternal peace to the departed soul. The government shall record his invaluable service and history will give him a place of honour
