NSCN revokes ban on Sumi Hoho

NSCN (I-M) has revoked its ban on the Sumi Hoho Thursday with immediate effect. According to a “Revocation Ahza” issued by NSCN (I-M)’s chief principal secretary Samson Jajo, the revocation was decided at its joint council meeting held June on 28 at camp Mokokchung village. The NSCN(I-M) stated that in the light of the “journey towards a common hope” and also considering the “earnest request put forward by the Pughoboto GBs Association and other sensible public leaders on June 21” at the public meeting, a meeting of its joint council was held on June 28 at camp Mokokchung where the decision to revoke the ban on the Sumi Hoho was taken “with immediate effect”. Further, the NSCN (I-M) also wished Sumi Hoho a “grand success” as they move forward to uplift the “Naga nation.”
