NSCN releases 3 rival cadres

IMPHAL, Aug 13: In a move considered positive and boost towards fulfilling principles of reconciliations and creating better understanding among Naga factions, the NSCN/GPRN-IM yesterday released two cadres of GPRN/NSCN-K and one NSCN-K cadre unharmed who were held in its custody for some months.

In a simple yet appreciated programme held at Senapati town, the 3 Naga faction cadres were released in the presence of their guardians and social leaders/representatives.

The three cadres were identified as Dapunii KD (NSCN-K) of Maiba Village, Robinson A (NSCN-K) of Liyai Khullen village and Rajepheyu rank N.Kaisii (NSCN-KK) of Taphou Pu-dunamai Village.

Meanwhile, the Naga People’s Organization (NPO) that has earlier appeal for safe release of faction cadres has also expressed its happiness and appreciation towards the move of the NSCN-IM to release the cadres unharmed.
