The Nagaland Dobashi Association (NDBA) today endorsed and supported the ongoing peace talk between the Government of India and ‘Naga representatives’ for early settlement of the Indo-Naga issue which has to be acceptable to all the section of Nagas.

Resolving this at its 18th General Conference here today, it also resolved that the Dobashis under the State of Nagaland will have only a unified State level body by the name “Nagaland Dobashi Association” and it should not get disturbed and divided by any outside forces for the interest of the DBs in particular and the Nagas in general.  A copy of the resolution made available to The Morung Express this evening said that the DBs are facing shortage in number at certain pockets of District Administration where immediate attention is required for Post Creation as per New Staffing Pattern 2004, in order to facilitate the smooth functioning of law and order duties and timely dispensation of justice.
