NSCN/GPRN is much anguished at the lost of our five dedicated soldiers namely, 1. Lieut.Col. Wilfred Zingkhai (WTR) 2. Lieut. Ramso (WTR) 3. Corpl. Kanjeiteng Pamei (ZLR) 4. Ichube Zemai (ZLR) and 5. Pte. Thanmiyo (WTR) whose promising future had been cut short by the monstrous act of irresponsibility and deceit led by one Maj. Rajdeep Pal of the 43rd Assam Rifle on 4/11/14 in the forest of Kepeilou Village, NC Hills.
Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim is proud that Naga Army officers led by Lieut.Col. Wilfred Zingkhai martyred their life while manning and defending the territory of Nagalim. We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved families and pray that God will give them the strength to bear the sorrows.
The manner of intruding and killing of our officers in our territory shows that Assam rifle have no respect for Cease Fire Ground Rules and that they are being used by certain bosses to defy and derail the ongoing Indo-Naga Peace process. NSCN/GPRN will see that, such act of treachery is responded in kind.
